About the event
This is a private residential spiritual retreat hosted by Gayathri and Shylesh (Sri Lalithananda) in Kerala, India. (5 nights, 6 days arriving on the morning of Saturday, Oct 14th and departing the morning of Thurs, Oct 19th). The Feminine Divine reflects our relationship within ourselves, the world outside, the rhythms and lifecycles of Mother Earth, and nature which are an integral part of our existence. The dynamic aspect of nature is creative, destructive and maintains all life while nourishing and nurturing it. We honor this force or energy as Shakti- that intelligent principle of causality present in the cosmos. It is the Creative aspect that we celebrate as the Feminine Divine aspect and expression of Consciousness.
Our early morning starts with light movement and breath practices to move into meditative stillness. You will receive a deep healing meditation and Satsangh (gathering in the company of Truth) for Q & A in the evenings.
You will learn how to develop a personal ritual to energize and empower you along with sacred mantras that revitalize your energy body. Meditation practices include heart-based practices with visualizations and simple mantra chanting. Contemplation and Self-Inquiry in silence and stillness are an essential part of this retreat.
Your retreat cost covers your shared room accommodations with an attached bathroom, hot water, and 3 vegetarian meals per day including tea/coffee and snacks. The retreat environment is surrounded by green rolling hills and tea, vanilla, and spice estates, and is charged with the energy of the Divine Mother. Details will be provided when you register and complete full payment for the retreat. Please do not make travel plans to our location without receiving approval and confirmation of the retreat from us. All travel, taxis, all flights, medical coverage, insurance costs, and other expenses are NOT included in the cost of the retreat.
